I have it on good account that Tigerfish, which has been in business since 1989, is a great company to work with. They are willing to work with transcriptionists who don't have experience. But you must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
They state on their employment page: "If you are a quick typist with a good ear for language and a strong sense of written English, transcribing for Tigerfish can be a way to earn money while working at home (or on the road) with a flexible schedule."
Their transcription employment page is very detailed, and gives all the information you will need to test with them. Check it out!

I love your blog! It's too bad Tigerfish is only accepting US Citizen. I am also a work at home mom , however, I treat my homebased jobs as my source of extra income. I have a regular office job. It's quite tiring sometimes but it somehow help to pay my bills and buy some extra things for my little daughter.
Hi there! Do you know any other transcription company that takes in applicants from other countries? Thanks for your anticipated response.
