Sometimes the difference between making it financially and not making it is a little extra cash, enough money to fill your tank with gas or buy a pizza on a night when you're too tired to cook. I've posted about a few of my tricks to make some quick extra cash - selling old books to local used bookstores, garage sales, surveys.
Frugal Dad has a great article on generating some extra cash. It's Seven Unique Side Hustles to Keep Your Family Finances Afloat. Give it a look. It might give you some ideas.

eBay used to be the way to make some extra cash, but they're slowly driving out the little sellers and making it increasingly difficult to actually earn any money after listing fees, final value fees, paypal fees, shipping fees increases....
Affiliate marketing seems to be working for me at the moment, especially epn - which is eBay! Go figure...

Thanks for the great article. I think it's always great to be able to share extra ways to make money especially with the type of economy we have right now.
To throw in my two cents, I have been working from home full time now since 2001 and have created a great multiple six figure income. Because I've had this great opportunity, I think it's always important for people to continue to explore extra ways of creating supplemental income or finding ways to increase your earning potential - that's why I got involved with home businesses (network marketing and affiliate marketing) because I didn't want a cap on my income and I wanted to truly be in charge of my own financial future.
So thanks again for highlighting some great ideas, it definitely will help people looking for ideas.
I think "fastest way to make money" is blogging . Especially about money and real estate.
Frugal Dad is a great blog which provides many interesting tidbits (such as this).
That is a useful article. Although back in 2008, it's still very useful today as I read it now. Thanks for posting this up!
